About IAPT RC-1

 

IAPT, RC-1 is one of the regional councils of IAPT covering Delhi and Haryana regions. Presently, the Regional Council (Delhi & Haryana) having more than 300 life members. The members include school and college level physics teachers, scientists, science communicators, industry people and students etc. The IAPT, RC-1 is engaged in almost all the activities organized by the Central body.

Major Activities of IAPT, RC- 1

 

In addition to it, IAPT, RC-1 has been organizing various other programmes for promoting Physics and Physics Education in the region, as given below:

1. Workshops for Physics teachers and students.

2. Orientation of Teachers and students for NSEP and NGPE

3. Conduct of NSEP and NGPE

4. Organise Prof. Ved Ratna Memorial Lecture

5. Organise Regional Competition for Innovative Experiments in Physics

6. Organisation of Regional Competition on ICT in Teaching Physics

7. Organise Regional Annual Convention

8. Celebration of Days and Events of Scientific Importance

9. Laboratory based workshops at different schools and colleges

10. Undertake research on science teaching

11. Motivate and help socio-economically disadvantaged children to study Physics
